I hope this thread might help others experiencing the same issue and maybe get enough attention for epic games to look into it (would love to share logs with you epic games).Okay so, I usually get around 500-700kB/s internet speed so I just went to settings in the epic games launcher, ticked the "throttle downloads" option and set that to around 1000kB/s just to be safe and did the well known engine.ini thing along with it where I would paste this: There's no doubt in my mind that the game launcher caused this problem and after a quick search on google I've found other instances of the same problem:
The weirdest thing about it is that it only throttles my connection to the US and not to Europe (I'm from Israel). I narrowed it down to the epic games launcher. After learning the problem is somewhere in my PC and not with my ISP (internet works well on other devices). It would randomly go really slow and unbearable (<1mbs), and today I figured it out.
